Antonina Tereschenko
Girl-talk-Girl Program Manager
Antonina is the Girl-talk-Girl Program Manager and works alongside Kristen, the Program Director on various aspects of the US-Russia Peer-to-Peer Dialogue Program, such as preparing workshops, the development of the toolkit, and building links and coordinating activities between the countries.
Antonina is Ukrainian and brings to the project significant field experience.
After obtaining her PhD degree from Cambridge University in 2009, Antonina worked for five years as a researcher at the University of Porto and King’s College London. Her academic background is in sociology of education and youth studies. She specialises in issues around educational in/equalities in relation to social identities such as gender, class, and ethnicity, particularly in the context of migration. She is excited about initiatives that help to promote social justice and contribute to positive social change.
