What is the main point of your story?
The main point is that at that time, when I felt bad, I could have talked to and shared with someone, instead of keeping to myself, because it was psychological violence, and I might have felt lighter. And, I understand that many women have to face such situations, and they stay silent, feel hurt, bad, but they keep to themselves.
Why this story?
After the first day of the workshop, I understood that indeed there had been a lot of violence in my life. I understood this when we started to look at types of violences. This story is typical, it’s very deep. I understand that many women come across this.
Do you think you have given something to other women?
Hope. My story can give hope that everything could change.
How did the workshop impact you?
This program had an impact on me. I posted on Facebook that I was at the workshop and said that if the post got enough likes I’d share the information. My post got many likes and comments. The idea behind the program is cool, and I support it and understand how important it is for women.
Has taking part in GTG impacted you at all? If yes, in what way?
I have understood that there’s support out there. Others understand me, accept me, and empathize with me. The key thing is not to stay silent. It’s indeed possible for all to share their problems and find a solution, and to realize that you are not alone.
